Etoile de Mer Villa, Sunset Bay

Hilary is from Tollerton, near York, North Yorkshire, UK. She is a Royal Auxiliary Air Force Officer, with the 609 (West Riding) Squadron, RAF Leeming, North Yorkshire, UK. Her hobbies include ski guiding, motorbiking, keeping fit, leading foreign expeditions, dogs and animal welfare.
Tristan Jon Philpot is from Trearddur Bay, Isle of Anglesey, UK. He is a Royal Air Force Pilot, UK. Hobbies include Motorbikes, Skiing, Diving, Foreign Travel. They met at their Officers' Mess Bar!
They chose the Turks & Caicos for their wedding and honeymoon because of the beautiful deserted beaches, spectacular diving, and because it is a UK dependency so the marriage is legal back home.
While on Providenciales they stayed at the Casa de Isle on Sunset Bay, and at Ocean Top Villa in Chalk Sound. The wedding took place at the Etoile de Mer Villa on Sunset Bay. Friends flew in from the UK and California, USA. They will reside in Isle of Anglesey, Wales, UK.
Hilary and Tristan would like to thank/acknowledge: Beatrix Neuhaus (Wedding coordinator extrordinaire!), Pastor Coleby presided over the beautiful service, Ileana (for the amazing photos) from Tropical Imaging, Our families and friends, plus Becky from the Corner Cafe, for the daytime catering, and then an evening meal at the Anacaona Restaurant. Dan and Debbie from Casa de Isle for their great hospitality as their first guests!

On the beach at Sibonne Beach Hotel

Valerie and Dominick met while on a business trip when they worked for the same company. Both are from Omaha, Nebraska. Valerie enjoys cooking gourmet dinners, playing golf, snorkelling and travel. She is employed at Modis as a Business Development Manager. Dominick's interests include reading, photography and graphic arts. He is employed at Hewlett Packard as a Marketing Manager.
They chose the Turks & Caicos Islands for their wedding and honeymoon because of the beautiful beaches, warm weather and as an exotic vacation.
They would like to give a special thanks to Beatrix Neuhaus of Nila destinations - our wedding was perfect. The photographer, Michael of Tropical Imaging took wonderful pictures, the decorations and setting were beautiful. Pastor Coleby officiated and it was a meaningful, personal and touching ceremony. Our cake was fabulous too. We enjoyed the last of the sunset with cake and a great bottle of champagne.

on Taylor Bay Beach at Bahia Mar

Michelle is a freelance writer. Her interests include fitness, fashion and the arts. David is a portfolio manager with Sun Trust Bank. His interests include golf, golf and golf! They met on their first job out of college.
The couple enjoyed honeymooning and romancing at Ocean Top Villa. The parents stayed at Bahia Mar Villa where festivities and the wedding ceremony took place. Guests flew in from Boston MA, Charleston South Carolina, Wilmington, Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina. They stayed at the Comfort Suites. The couple will reside in Wilmington NC.
Michelle and David would like to thank Aqua Bar & Terrace and Chef Clive and Mike for catering the rehearsal dinner, reception and Caribbean buffet. They would like to thank Beatrix of NILA Destinations for the planning. Judith for the flowers and Ozzie Virgil for transportation. They would also like to "Thank all our friends and family who shared the moment with us."

Alaina Nicole Rankin and Derek Harmon



July 7th, 2005
on Grace Bay Beach at Ocean Club

Alaina is from Troutman North Carolina. Her interests include reading and travel. Derek enjoys mountain biking and rock climbing. He is from Asheville North Carolina. They met while at Western Carolina University while Derek studied for his BS in Emergency Medical Care and Alaina studied for her BS in Health Management Information. The last two years there almost all of their classes were across the hall from each other. They shared the same group of friends. After becoming friends they decided to give a relationship a try and have been together ever since.
After graduation Derek moved to Durham to get his BSN in Nursing from Duke University. Alaina moved to Charlotte for her Masters in Health Administration. They visited and called each other a lot. After graduating from Duke he moved to Blacksburg Virginia to start medical school at Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine. When Alaina graduated with her masters degree she moved to Virginia to be with Derek.
They chose Providenciales to get married because Alaina always dreamed of a beach wedding and because, "We knew that having our wedding here would make our wedding day our own special day!"
Friends flew in from Atlanta Georgia, Asheville and Charlotte North Carolina. The couple will reside in Salem Virginia with their dogs Roxie and Tobie. Alaina is employed in quality management at Bedford Memorial Hospital.
They would like to acknowledge Beatrix of Nila Destinations and the Ocean Club Resort and staff for making their day SPECIAL!

Stacie Leonard and David Hummel



September 7th, 2005 at Sunset
on Grace Bay Beach

Stacie and David met at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
David's hometown is Greenwood, Indiana. His interests include scuba diving, singing and chess. He is employed with Midwest ATC as an air traffic controller.
Stacie is from Framingham, Massachusetts. She enjoys scuba diving, running, softball and skiing. Stacie is an attorney with the US Navy.
Since they were planning to vacation in the Turks & Caicos Islands they decided it would be the perfect place to get married. Friends flew in from Guantanamo Bay. Stacie and David vacationed at Beaches Resort & Spa.
The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Colby. Flowers arranged by Other Peoples Affairs. Photos were taken by friends. The couple would like to thank Beatrix of NILA Destinations for "An excellent job! We couldn't be more pleased with everything."

Megan Fitzpatrick and Thomas Dow



October 29th, 2005 at 5pm
on Grace Bay Beach at Anacaona

Megan Fitzpatrick is an account executive with Creative Staffing. Originally from Denver Colorado she enjoys cooking and fishing. Thomas Dow is a Sales Representative for Sherman Williams. From Fairfax Virginia his interests include golf, fishing and boating. Megan and Thomas met at Nathan's in Washington D.C.
They chose the Turks & Caicos Islands for their wedding because "The TCI has the most beautiful water in the world!"
The wedding took place on Grace Bay Beach in front of Anacaona. Friends flew in from the USA and Europe. The couple will reside in Ft. Lauderdale Florida.
In their own words: Beatrix our wedding coordinator did a fabulous job and we could have never had our dream wedding without her. We would like to thank Bob and Eileen for allowing us to stay at Cocoloba, the beach bungalow at Sunset Bay.
We would like to thank Margaret and David for providing Etoile de Mer, the incredibly beautiful location of our honeymoon and rehearsal dinner. It is such a beautiful home with whimsical breezes and magical nights. Thank you Clive and Michael for providing the incredible rehearsal dinner menu. Thank you Anacaona for the beautiful setting, exquisite food and excellent service for our wedding reception. Pennylaine did a wonderful job on our photographs and Island Cakes made a sumptuous and beautiful wedding cake.
Our dream wedding is one that we will never forget for the rest of our lives. Providenciales is truly a magical place and we look forward to spending many more years to come on the island together and with our future children.

on the beach at Ocean Club Resort

ChrisAnn (capital A) and Cliff Gibbons were married on Jan. 14, 2006 on the beach at the Ocean Club Resort. Sixty-five guests joined them for their special event. Guests flew in from different parts of the US and stayed at the Ocean Club Resort.
On Jan. 12 while the sun was setting, they held a welcome cocktail party at the lounge at Anacaona. Correy Forbes and the Rakooneers played island music on acoustic guitar, drums and the ripsaw.
The wedding ceremony took place on Grace Bay Beach - a bamboo arch and festively decorated tiki torches created a beautiful Caribbean ambience. Kenton Wyatt performed on the steel pan for the ceremony and while pictures were taken at the beach. Tropical Imaging captured unforgettable moments.
The reception and dinner took place at Cabana Bar under the stars and a full moon. They enjoyed a lobster BBQ and lots of dancing, the music was provided by DJ William John.
ChrisAnn had chosen a colour scheme of yellow, pink and greens and would like to thank Judith Smith for bouquets that made a dream come true. Special thanks to everybody at Ocean Club, Pastor Coleby, the staff at Anacaona, Mike and his team at Cabana Bar, Kenton Wyatt, William John, Correy Forbes, Tropical Imaging and wedding coordinator Beatrix Neuhaus and her staff. The wedding event was planned and coordinated by NILA Destinations.

Allison Rolick and Blair McDaniel





December 15th, 2005 at Sunset
On the Beach at Grace Bay Club

Allison is from Elora, Ontario, Canada and is an Interior Design Student. Blair is from Fergus, Ontario and is a Commercial Framing Contractor. He likes motorcycles, she enjoys yoga, they both list their interests as ATVs, travel and a great dane named Apollo. They met at the age of 17, when they worked together at Zehrs grocery store in Fergus. "We fell in love instantly and have been together ever since!"
They choose the Turks & Caicos for their wedding and honeymoon because - Blair's parents have been vacationing here for years. They always brought back beautiful pictures and spoke so highly of the islands. We had the opportunity to look at lots of back issues of Where When How magazines they brought home and see other weddings that took place in the past. Our dream was to have a small beach wedding. Turks & Caicos with white sand and stunning turquoise waters, was the most perfect place we could think of.
Thirteen guests flew in from Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia for the wedding. The couple will reside in Elora, Ontario, Canada. Allison and her bridesmaids got their hair done and ate lunch by the pool the morning of the wedding, while Blair and his groomsmen swam in the ocean. "We've never been to such a stress free wedding and it was our own. We wouldn't have changed a thing!"
They would like to Thank: Our wedding coordinator Beatrix Neuhaus, who took care of everything so perfectly for us. We'd like to thank everyone at Comfort Suites for being so accommodating and friendly to our guests during our stay on the island. Geraldine of Maxime's for our creative up-dos by the pool. Tropical Imaging for their top notch photography - they captured every precious moment. Our Minister Pastor Colby who kept the ceremony light and charming. Kenton Wyatt for the flute and steelpan music. Thomas of Anacaona Restaurant for a lovely cake. Anacaona for a delicious, romantic candlelit wedding dinner. Grace Bay Club for an incredible few honeymoon nights - we were treated like a king and a queen!
