If it is a more ‘hands on’ approach you crave, our islands boast a multitude of spa options with an extensive and comprehensive menu of services guaranteed to satisfy even the most discriminating palate. From an intimate and private treatment session in the seclusion of your own villa to extravagant and lavish world-class resort spas and everything in-between, age-old treatments coupled with modern technology can fulfill your every wish and desire. Just as the spa techniques and principals of yesterday have evolved, so too have our attitudes. No longer considered pure indulgence, both men and women have come to acknowledge and respect the curative and restorative effects, plus the improved health benefits that can be derived from the spa experience. An essential component of our well-being, and the pathway to wellness and inner peace.
The Spa at The Palms is 25,000 square feet of sumptuous opulence and grace, the epitome of a world-class spa anticipating your every whim and fantasy. Called a destination in and of itself it is inspired by the Mediterranean, with its influence present in their comprehensive treatments featuring world-renowned Temple Spa products. The calming effects of the reflective pool immediately embrace you. Beyond the reception area, through the lovely inner sanctum of the dressing rooms an additional reflective pool meanders its way around stand-alone private treatment cabanas, with two suites exclusively for couples. More water features embellish this poolside relaxation area enhanced by the gentle ripple of fountains with flower petals languidly floating by. Spa Manager Madeline Edejer reigns over their Spa Menu, a virtual melange of comprehensive and innovative treatments to cater to every self-indulgent fantasy. ‘Spoilt for choice’ is the operative phrase here. Their Mediterranean massage treatments focus on nourishing your soul through Soul Therapy Blends chosen specifically for you. Vespers - for peace and relaxation; Matins - for restoration and strength; and Fiducae (pronounced fiduchee) to promote faith and confidence. Under therapist Marcia’s skilled and soothing hands, atop their specially designed Mediterranean sea mattress I was tempted to float away into a state of unconsciousness - reminding myself to focus, so I could share this experience of complete indulgence. ‘My Kinda Skin’, specifically prescribed for your own skins’ needs was much more than a facial and left me in a complete state of utopia. Pampering on a transcendent level. For a truly unique experience, Zareeba, ‘protected enclosure’ is an indigenous island herbal steam cleansing treatment, detoxification and purification ritual performed evenings in private tented cabanas. At the centre of the spa, overlooking the reflective pool, take part in the healing and restorative powers of meditation, yoga and Pilates. A full-service salon, and spa boutique enables you to continue your wellness journey with Temple Spa-To-Go products.
Serenity is a relaxed state of being often coupled with tranquility, peacefulness and contentment. This truly describes Serenity Spa. Since 1999, Dee Dempsey has provided clients with an extensive collection of services including massage, spa body treatments, skin care, natural nail care, a full service hair studio and a mobile spa service. Catering to your every need, Dee encourages clients to arrive early, even an hour before their treatment, to simply shower, change into a cozy robe, have a cup of tea and relax in their calming contemporary Caribbean style retreat. Their Elemis treatment philosophy is simple; every treatment is a journey in itself with a beginning, middle and end. To begin, a ‘welcome touch’ concentrating on breathing, the application of warm lime mitts and an ancient Indian foot cleansing ritual; followed by the prescribed treatment; and ending with the awareness phase to balance and awaken with the calming sounds of Tibetan chimes. Their chosen product line, Elemis, is recognized worldwide as a leading professional line of spa products.

There are several legal regulations that must be followed for an official marriage in the Turks and Caicos Islands. A Vegas-style drive-thru wedding is absolutely impossible. You must reside in the islands 48 hours before applying for the marriage license. Then, there is a 2-3 day wait to obtain the license. Two to 3 weeks following the ceremony, the wedding certificate is issued and forwarded to you by your wedding planner. Original documents are mandatory and other considerations must be followed in cases of divorcees and widowers. Your wedding planner can assist you through these channels with ease.
